Born in 1976, from an idea of people with a passion for everything hydroelectric, we were the first company to relate commercial hydroponic techniques with the needs of the home grower.

NUTRICULTURE PIONEERING HYDROPONICS

Nutriculture manufactured and introduced the first domestic hydroelectric system - the Gro-Tank NFT - and, from a small industrial unit in South Lancashire, we started supplying the first hydroponic retailers in the UK.

As the UK industry grew with us, they invested substantially in our locations, manufacturing techniques and R&D to meet the needs of a demanding market in home and commercial hydroponic systems.

In December 2020 they were pleased to announce the merger with direct garden supplies; the creators of the amazing IWS range and exclusive wholesaler of home and garden ventilation products and Rhino.

The exciting decision to merge combines the talents and resources of the two companies, enabling us to work to develop better products and services and continue to lead the hydroponics industry to the top !!
