The Gavita Pro 1000 is a complete set that includes the efficient and professional HortiStar HR 96 1000 DE reflector.
Being completely enclosed and free of moving parts (no fans), as well as having very low heat dissipation, the ballast can be mounted close to the lamps, allowing for easy and safe installation.
Placing the ballast close to the lamp significantly reduces radio interference in the electrical network.
The ballasts are adjustable for 600/660/750/825/1000/1150 watts, making it possible to manage a wide range of EL lamps and increase their light output by 10 to 15%, the highest emission on the market.
The Gavita Pro 1000 is the first 240 volt electronic ballast that uses the Philips GreenPower 1000 W 400 V EL (Double Output) professional lamp.
This lamp has the highest PAR light output, an improved spectrum and excellent efficiency (> 95% PAR light after one year of use).

The ballast output is controlled by an external switch, allowing it to be adjusted to a boosted output of 600, 750, 825, 1000W and 1150W.
The high frequency ballast has been specifically designed for the Gavita double ended HPS lamp, guaranteeing precise and optimal performance, a stable lamp lit and better light maintenance over time. The ballast is not suitable for operating metal halide lamps.
The reflector is replaceable (we recommend doing this annually for up to two years) and there is a choice of replacement reflectors:
HR96 DE for overlapping configurations, ensuring optimum uniformity and penetration. This is the industry standard reflector that comes with the fixture.
The W 150 DE for large configurations, where uniformity and lower light levels are required in large rooms.
150 degree beam angle, for double ended lamps.
M 110 DE SR for single row applications and small rooms, where a single reflector must create uniformity and high light levels. 110 degree beam angle, for double ended lamps.
The diffusion of the Pro 1000 with HR96 DE reflector is approximately 4 × 6 ft (110x180 cm) at a distance of 3 ft in overlapping planes, providing light levels up to 1000 µmol s-1 m-2.
The light source of the luminaire is a double ended 1000 W HPS Gavita Pro Plus lamp, which generates 2100 µmol s-1 of light. With over 96% light maintenance every 5000 hours, it only needs to be replaced once a year.
Assembly is easy because the luminaire is balanced and requires only two suspension points. Convenient brackets are available for C-profile installations.
