ODOUR FILTER AIRONTEK MADE IN ITALY
After introducing HPS lamp reflectors and propagators for cuttings, the Airontek range expands with the addition of new Airon-filters based on raw active carbons.
The new variants of Airontek filters are available in 5 models differentiated by flange diameter and air filtration capacity calculated for one hour of use.
What is activated carbon?
Activated carbon is a material mainly composed of amorphous carbon characterized by a highly porous structure.
This characteristic promotes air contact with a large surface area of the carbon during the filtration process, utilizing its remarkable adsorption capacities.
Thanks to this physical process, carbon can retain most organic molecules, including odors, present in the air.
What is the purpose of the Activated Carbon Odour Filter?
Given the characteristics described above, the use of high-quality activated carbon filters is essential in our industry to control unpleasant odour emitted from cultivation areas.
How to choose the most suitable filter?
Odour Filter Active Carbon by Airontek consist of a hollow outer casing closed at one end and equipped, at the other end, with a flange that allows connection to flexible ducts.
The walls of the casing have a cavity filled with activated carbon.
When the filter is inserted into the extraction system and connected to an extractor, the air is forced to pass through the carbons that purify it from unpleasant odors and pollutant or harmful particles.
To ensure effective air cleaning, it is important to choose an extractor proportional to the filter's capacity: the filter flow rate should be about 20-30% higher than that of the extractor.
This avoids reducing the extractor's power (which, if paired with a filter with too low capacity, would work under strain and lose power) and prolongs the contact time between air and carbons, thus optimizing cleaning.
Airontek filters are made exclusively with high-quality materials and are designed to be durable, lightweight, and sturdy.
