In order to realise the CFL objective, the creators of Cultilite have established an extensive network of collaborations with leading US research laboratories based in California, a state that is known to be at the forefront of the development of 'indoor growing' technologies.

When designing the lamps in the G-SHOCK line, Cultilite researchers asked themselves what were the most important characteristics that a CFL lamp dedicated to indoor horticulture should have.

How do we respond to these needs?

First of all, the Cultilite Eco-Power 125w lamps were designed and manufactured with 4U.

Cultilite researchers have in fact demonstrated that the use of 4Us makes it possible to optimise the relationship between energy absorption and light output.

Cultilite opted for what were found to be the most effective colour temperatures for indoor growing: 2100°K, 2700°K, 6400°K.

These colour temperatures are the most effective for indoor growing.

These colours include the peaks of absorption of light waves by the plants, which use this energy for anabolic processes: formation of cellular components, formation of new tissue and energy supply.

Cultilite Eco-Power is in the A category of the 'Energy Class': it is designed to transform almost all of the absorbed energy into light... for this reason it emits very little heat and can also be used in summer and in small rooms.

The G-SHOCKs are made of thicker glass and have two welding points between each U.

These innovations reduce the risk of damage due to transportation or handling errors when installing the lamps.
