The Cultilite design offices in England have undertaken to analyze and test competitors' lamps, in order to gather all the information necessary for the creation of reliable, long-lasting and highly performing lamps.

The new Led Antares by Cultilite are the real revolution in terms of lighting for crops.

They combine the power of two types of LEDs, COBs and diodes.

Each module consists of a central 66w COB surrounded by 8 diodes of 3w each.

The peculiarity of this LED that makes it unique in its kind, is the COB, which has a double spectrum, in fact it is possible to switch from the vegetative light spectrum to the flowering one with the two buttons present in the upper part of the LED.

Using both light spectra together, they range from 3000K up to 6000K, guaranteeing the plants a light that allows a complete development and not only of certain parts.

Another novelty is the COB lens, which is 105 ° (the perfect middle ground between those at 90 ° and 120 °, the most common on the market).

In this way the light beam is more concentrated where it is needed and does not create dispersions.

For example, the Led Antares 360 is perfect for a space of 1m2, maximum 1.10m2 and in this space the quantity of lumens is very high without dispersing light on the sides where it is not needed, and in addition it allows a deep penetration in order to reach all parts of the plant.

Advantages of Cultilite LEDs are:

1. High quality American Bridgelux chips: the first inconvenience that growers who convert to the use of LED panels have to face, is that related to the excessive sensitivity to heat of the low quality Chinese diodes commonly used for the realization of LEDs for the indoor cultivation: thanks to the cooperation between Cultilite and several research laboratories based in California, it was possible to study and field test the best diodes on the market: the most suitable for the purpose were the American-made "Bridgelux" diodes, high quality chips resistant to very high temperatures (up to 150 ° C).
2. Copper heat sink: in addition to the use of superior quality components, the entire cooling system of the panels has been redesigned in order to avoid any possible overheating problem: the common heat sink in simple aluminum has in fact proved insufficient to effectively conduct the heat generated and has been replaced by special heat sinks made of copper, notoriously one of the most effective materials in heat conduction.
3. Cooling system revised and optimized: even the internal structure of the panel has been revised and optimized: thanks to special measures, it was possible to create spots containing 25 diodes each to create more powerful panels, but of considerably reduced dimensions!

The smaller footprint turns out to be an advantage for growers, who can use these LED panels even in small and very small environments.

The new Cultilite LEDs are available in 90w, 180w and 360w versions and can be connected to each other through the special universal socket on the back of the case.
